A Bergère is a high quality grower Champagne house based in the Côtes des Blancs region. Their Blanc de Blancs Solera is 100% Chardonnay with low dosage and partially barrel fermented for extra complexity. Challenge 21 - You must be 18 or over to buy alcohol. You must not buy alcohol on behalf of those under 18. We apply the "Challenge 21" policy to all delivery and collection orders. We will not supply if the person receiving or collecting orders appears under the age of 21.
Orders placed before 1pm each day Monday – Friday will be despatched the same day as long as the stock is in immediate availability. For some items, we may need to get stock from our stores which could delay despatch by 1 day (2 days in some situations)
Items in stock will be despatched on the same day and delivered via courier. This will usually be delivered on the following working day but please allow one extra day if this is not possible. Deliveries to Scotland & non UK mainland will usually be delivered in 2-3 working days.
We charge a flat fee of £6.90 for delivery if your order is under 20kg and £10 inc-VAT if the order is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £100 (inc VAT).
We aim to ship items within the same working day but always within 2 working days, subject to the order being placed before 1pm and subject to the availability of stock. *If stock is not available at our warehouse and needs to come back from one of our stores before we ship to you, your order may take up to 5 working days to be shipped – whether that is to your delivery address or to one of our stores.
We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you need to cancel an order you have just placed, you can do so by calling our customer service team on 020 8951 9840 and provide your order confirmation number and name. If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us. Please email us at online@amathusdrinks.com with your order confirmation number, full name and the reason you for the return. Shipping charges are non-refundable. We advise you to obtain a postal receipt or send the items back via recorded delivery.
Champagne A Bergère is a grower Champagne based in Fèrebrianges, and with a building on the famous Avenue de Champagne in Epernay. The Bergere family have been growing grapes since 1848, with the winery founded in 1949 to release champagnes under the family name. Today they own 65 hectares of vineyards split between the prestigious Côte des Blancs, Vallée du Petit Morin and the Côte de Sezanne, which themselves are the southern sector of the greater Cotes des Blancs region. They work only with their own fruit. Current generation Adrien Bergère heads up the estate with a primary focus on Chardonnay, low dosage across the range, extended lees ageing and judicious use of oak barrels to tease out the full potential of the wines. A range of single vineyard wines are produced alongside regional blends, and there is an enviable range of older vintages released in large format. These are exceptional wines which combine elegance and minerality with precision and complexity. The prices remain very reasonable for wines of this high level of quality, and we are confident that A. Bergère will develop into one of the region’s most desirable producers.
100% Chardonnay from the terroirs of Fèrebrianges, Etoges, Congy and Sézanne, all on limestone soil. Dosage is just 5g/l. The wine is 50% 2018 vintage and 50% from a solera started in 2013. 35% of the wine is fermented and matured in old oak barrels.
Elegant yet rich with white peach, nougat and a creamy palate; caresses the mouth; very attractive with fine acidity, hazelnut and apricot on the long, satin-textured finish.
