A beginner-level introduction to wine, suitable for those starting a wine career or pursuing an interest in wine. For individuals new to wine study, this qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. You’ll explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste, while also gaining the basic skills to describe wines accurately and make food and wine pairings. Upon successful completion, you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.

Champagne A Bergère is the most exciting new producer to arrive in the UK for several years. A grower Champagne based in Fèrebrianges, and with a building on the famous Avenue de Champagne in Epernay, the Bergère family have been growing grapes since 1848, with the winery founded in 1949.

The 260 acres of one single vineyard make up the Chateau de Laubade, which was created in 1870. Today, they are one of the leading estates in Armagnac. It is situated in Sorbets d'Armagnac, in the Bas Armagnac appellation's finest region. Since 1974, the estate has been managed by the Lesgourgues family.
