There are specific guidelines that must be followed when producing Tennessee whiskey, which can only be made in the state of Tennessee. It uses the "Lincoln County Process," which gives the whisky its distinctive flavour of charcoal mellowing and is mainly made of corn. The most popular whisky in the world, Jack Daniel's, sells most of its products overseas.
