Le Soleil is an unusual yet delicious zero-sulfur sparkling wine from the organic winery Vieux Moulin, based in the southern French region of Corbières. Made from the little-known Soleil grape, skin contact lends an amber hue, while the nose bursts with aromas of apricot, passionfruit, baked apple, and dried orange. Full-bodied yet refreshing with a touch of tannin.

Orders placed before 1pm each day Monday – Friday will be despatched the same day as long as the stock is in immediate availability. For some items, we may need to get stock from our stores which could delay despatch by 1 day (2 days in some situations)
Items in stock will be despatched on the same day and delivered via courier. This will usually be delivered on the following working day but please allow one extra day if this is not possible. Deliveries to Scotland & non UK mainland will usually be delivered in 2-3 working days.
We charge a flat fee of £6.90 for delivery if your order is under 20kg and £10 inc-VAT if the order is over 20kg. Free delivery is available for orders above £100 (inc VAT).
We aim to ship items within the same working day but always within 2 working days, subject to the order being placed before 1pm and subject to the availability of stock. *If stock is not available at our warehouse and needs to come back from one of our stores before we ship to you, your order may take up to 5 working days to be shipped – whether that is to your delivery address or to one of our stores.
We want all our cusomers to be 100% happy with their order and it is our aim to ensure that all orders are supplied to our customers arrive in perfect condition. You have the right to cancel your order at any time without being charged for the goods ordered within 14 days of purchase.

If you call us after your item has shipped, we will be unable to cancel it and you will need to return to us. Château Vieux Moulin is a 200-year-old estate located in the Languedoc appellation of Corbières. This is the largest appellation of the Languedoc with a range of terroirs, and a climate that benefits from the warmth of the Mediterranean, tempered by the cool Atlantic “Cers” wind. The main grape variety here is Carignan, which can sometimes be quite rustic, but comes into its own when cropped from low-yielding old vines, producing wines of richness, spice and concentration.
After he finished military service nearly 20 years ago, Alexandre came to help out at the family wine estate. Soon afterwards, he was given the opportunity to take over the estate, despite having very limited experience in winemaking. However, the choice was either to accept the responsibility or sell. Alex dove in headfirst and learned on the job, making him the 7th generation of his family to run the domaine.
Vieux Moulin was being farmed largely along organic lines, but now all 28 hectares are fully certified. Alex is unafraid to challenge the status quo and explore new angles of winemaking, but never at the expense of what’s in the glass, and the wines always represent their origins in the vineyard. The range includes both conventionally made wines and some very on-trend natural releases. The wines are made with natural yeasts and at low levels of SO2, but in some cases, no additions are made at all. All the wines are strikingly packaged, and the zero-sulfur wines are clean, technically precise, and delicious – just natural wines that happen to be exceptional.
The Pet Nat Soleil is Alex's first foray into sparkling wine, made from the Soliel grape, a PIWI variety that is a disease-resistant crossing of Tocai Friulano and Kozma 20-3. Only a few hectares are planted near Corbières, and these are made from organic grapes sourced from a trusted grower. Made with 15 hours of skin contact during fermentation, with zero sulphur additions.
This is a unique skin-contact orange sparkling wine, packed with flavours of ripe apricot, tangerine, passionfruit, baked apple, fennel, and almond, with broad yet soft tannins and a long finish; a great wine to pair with cheese, roast chicken, pork, or charcuterie.
