White Vermouth
The origins of white Vermouth are believed to trace back to the early 18th century in Italy. Giovanni Maria Farina, a distiller from Turin, is credited with the creation of the first white Vermouth. Farina's white Vermouth was made using a blend of over 30 different herbs and spices. Today, white Vermouth is still made using a similar process. First, the wine is fortified with alcohol. Then, it is aromatized with various herbs and spices. The final product is a delicious, aromatic drink that can be enjoyed on its own or as an ingredient in cocktails.
