Champagne Duval-Leroy
Carol Duval-Leroy, the "Femme de Champagne", is CEO of this 6th-generation, family-run Champagne house, founded in 1859. Located in the prestigious Côte des Blancs, where some of the finest Chardonnay grapes grow, the house style reflects their home, with Chardonnay the signature of their blends. Unlike most Grande Marque houses, Duval-Leroy are grape-growers as much as Champagne-makers, farming 150 hectares of vines, mainly in top-quality, Premier and Grand Cru sites.
Equally unusual for the region, Duval-Leroy also has a female winemaker, Sandrine Logette. With her team, she crafts the elegant house style, including organic-certified cuvées and vegan winemaking. Their extensive range includes the classic, non-vintage Brut Réserve, a pure-Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs, the Rosé Prestige from only Premier Cru grapes, and ultimately, the luxurious Femme de Champagne Grand Cru cuvées in both non-vintage and vintage incarnations.
